Well this morning Kyra and I ran errands. We had to go to the bank and over to the other side of East Portland to get the exersaucer I found her on Craigslist. (I love Craigslist! $15 for an exersaucer in good condition, how awesome is that!?!?) Then we went to Wal-Mart to visit with Dad on "Take Your Kid to Work Day." (Kyra wasn't quite old enough to actually stay with him at work all day.) Too bad her "Wal-Mart uniform" doesn't fit anymore!!! Then Kyra (finally) laid down for a nap. She'd been refusing to stay asleep when I'd put her down anywhere, but finally I laid her down on the blanket Phil uses a lot on our bed while I was doing some other stuff and she dozed off there. Maybe because it smells like Dad. :) She tried out the new exersaucer tonight and likes it!!
We spent a good share of the afternoon online looking for possible replacement/alternative lovies to Chicken Bob as he's already starting to look a little worse for wear. We'll post updates about how the search is going. If YOU ever need to find/replace a lost or worn lovie, or just are looking for an "old friend", here are some GREAT places to look: Plush Memories Lost Toy Search Service and Susan's Sew-Nique.
