Well, Kyra stayed alone with Phil for the first time this morning due to us missing the alarm and waking up 20 minutes before we were supposed to drop the dog off at the groomer that's 15 minutes away. :) I ran him over there and Dad stayed home with Kyra until she woke up and then she had a melt down. He got her swaddled up and settled her down like a pro and they were snuggling on the couch when I got home.
She was very playful this morning and after she was fed and dressed she played with the cat and Denali thought it was great because he thought she was petting him. She had lots of fun watching me play with the caterpillar toy she got from Great-Grandma Pat.
Phil took us out for late lunch/early dinner tonight to Red Robin and we did some shopping. Kyra got an Easter bonnet and got to pick out a toy at Wal-Mart because currently, all her age appropriate toys were too big for her to hold. She got a pack of link-a-doos and is currently still trying to get holding them without letting them slide down her arm figured out. She visited with Phil's co-worker Glenda too and actually had her eyes open and was sort of sociable this time, despite being a little bit fussy earlier.
